Preschool Applied Behaviour Analysis Program

The St.Amant  Preschool ABA program offers three years of Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) to preschool children diagnosed with autism, autistic disorder, autistic spectrum disorder, pervasive development disorder, not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) or Asperger’s Syndrome.

The service includes 36 hours of one-on-one teaching sessions in the child’s home each week, five hours of which are parent-led. It involves intensive, individualized, planned and consistent application of ABA strategies to teach children meaningful skills in areas such as communication, play, social interactions, daily living, pre-academic, academic and motor.

Group settings such as daycares, nursery schools and community programs are included when clinically appropriate.Parents and guardians are valued members of the ABA team and we invest in their training and full participation.
